Ingredients:
- 1 kg potatoes, steamed, mashed
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- 1 egg
- 50 g grated cheese
- Salt, sugar, pepper to taste
Topping:
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 tsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 25 g grated cheese
How to make:
- Mix all the ingredients until blended.
- Grease a heat resistant dish with butter, then put 1/2 portion of dough into it, flatten.
- Use the remaining 1/2 portion to make into ball shapes then place on top of the flattened dough in the pan.
- Preheat oven to 350 F, then bake the potatoes for 15 min.
- Meanwhile, make the topping by melting butter over a pan, then add the flour.
- Stir until the flour is cooked.
- Add the milk little by little, stirring to prevent clumping.
- Add the cheese.
- Cook until the mixture is quite thick.
- Remove the dish from the oven after 15 minutes, then pour the topping over the potatoes.
- Bake again for 10 min until the topping is browned. If necessary, bake it with top fire for a minute.
- Serve warm when topping is still melting.
- It is more delicious if we serve it with steak or meatloaf and vegetables.
