Ingredients:
- 400 g fillet of snapper / grouper, coat with:
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cm ginger, grated
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- lemon water
Dyers:
- Eggs, beaten off
- Cornstarch
Sauce:
- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup of onions, sliced
- 7 tbsp tomato sauce
- sugar
- 250 boiled water
- cornstarch solution
- 1 tablespoon canned peas
How to make:
- Let the fish, that has been smeared with above condiments, remain in the fridge for minimally 1 hour
- Then drain
- Heat the oil
- Dip the fish into the beaten egg, then dredge in cornstarch
- Fry until cooked
- When serving, pour the sauce over the fish
Sauce:
- Saute garlic and onions until fragrant
- Add tomato sauce, boiled water and sugar
- Cook until boiling
- Thicken with cornstarch solution
- Then add the peas.
Note:
Fish can be replaced with shrimp.
