aMuslima on the go – Today attended the ISNA convention in Washington DC, 2013 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center
801 Mount Vernon Place NW Washington, DC.
On the drive up to Washington DC from North Carolina we passed many cars with Muslims in them. Pretty awesome. This event is a much coveted event that occurs once a year. So many Muslims around the USA, and even from around the world come and attend this event! This event hosts sessions for adults, students (Muslim Student Association, MSA) , children, matrimony banquets and the coveted Bazaar.
The conference started Friday August 30th and will end tomorrow September 2, 2013. There are a mix of conferences, learning sessions for adults with Imam Mohamed Magid, ISNA President, Ingrid Matt, Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Sarah Sayeed, Aisha Al-Adawiya, Ihsan Bagby, Mohamed Magid and many many more amazing speakers. Here was the agenda.

Although I didn’t have a chance to attend the sessions, I was able to go onto the Bazaar floor and see all the amazing products and services now available for Muslims to consume. I think there were over 500+ vendors that exhibited! Here are some of the company’s that exhibited. So many wonderful amazing items!
