Fried shrimp tomato sauce

Ingredients:

  • 400 g large shrimp, remove the head, cut backs
  • 1 onion, cut into 4
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 cm ginger, crushed
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 100 gr of tomato sauce (more or less)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 125 ml of water (more or less)
  • 1 tablespoon oil and 1 tablespoon butter, for sauteing.

How to make:

  1. Marinate shrimp with lemon juice and salt for a few moments.
  2. Then fry until quite cooked and set aside.
  3. Saute onion and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add ginger, stir-fry again.
  5. Add fried shrimp and peppers and stir-fry.
  6. Pour the tomato sauce, water, soy sauce, salt, sugar and pepper into the pan.
  7. Bring everything to a boil and cook until the sauce is quite thick.
    (If you like, add a cornstarch solution to it)
  8. Enjoy!
