Annual World Muslimah Pageant is a Global Charity event which is also part of World Musimah (WM) Foundation programs, for the relief of those who are struggling in hunger (e.g. Somalia), war and conflict (e.g. Syria, Egypt, Palestine, Afghanistan, Rohingnya) and natural disaster (e.g. Indonesia, India, Bangladesh). WM- Foundation is striving to convey the call of peace and humanity among Muslim sisterhood to save the children for better quality of life. This shows how their beauty can be a driving inspiration for others.
The Grand Final of the World Muslimah 2013 event will be on September 18, 2013. It will be broadcasted live on Indonesian television station ANTV, at 19:30 to 21:30 pm Indonesian time (7:30 am till 9:30 am Eastern Standard USA time) .
Before entering the World Muslim selection, the 20 finalists have to come to Jakarta, Indonesia to participate in a workshop which is divided into two themes.
The first theme of the workshop is called Sholeha (pious) and Smart, commencing September 10-13, 2013. It is session in which candidates will focus on spiritual subjects such as Qur’an memorization, the development of humanitarian intelligence, the challenges of Islam, woman and their future development, reaching to be best wife and mother in Islam, and much more.
Then the second theme workshop called Healthy, Wealthy, and Beauty commencing from the 14th -17th of September 2013. Here the participants will be briefed about fashion photography, fun walk, public speaking, presentation skills, fashion, beauty, style, fashion modelling and also stage performance.
Reading of the Al-Quran along with performing both compulsory and evening prayers while increasing knowledge of Islam are the Finalist daily activities during the duration of the event. Even more so, outside the event because Finalists are exemplary model of the ideal Muslimah.
