Biscuit Pops…Halal Recipe from aMuslima Kitchen

We prepared this snack when we celebrated our daughter’s birthday at home. Simple, but pretty, festive, and easy to make. No cooking needed. You can involve your children to make it together during the weekend. You will most probably spend not more than 30 minutes to make and costs less than $10 for the 20 pieces of biscuit pops!

What you need are:

  • 2 Packages (each about 400 gr) of Marie biscuits (tea biscuits)
  • 200 grams of condensed chocolate milk
  • 3 tbsp of melted butter
  • Colorful sprinkles
  • Sticks (you can find it at the party section in the supermarket)

How to make the biscuit pops:

  1. Crush all the biscuits in a bowl using a shredder or a spoon.
  2. Add condensed milk (reserve part of condensed milk in a separate plate) and melted butter into the bowl until biscuits can be formed in a small ball shape (size of a golf ball).
  3. Take a stick, dip the top of the stick in the rest of  condensed milk and stick it to the biscuit pops.
  4. Dip the biscuit pops into condensed milk until it covers the whole ball, then dip it into sprinkles.
  5. Place the ready biscuit pops on a plate or a container to cool.
  6. Place it in the refrigerator to harden.
  7. Biscuit pops are ready to be served!
