Carbless Recipe – aMuslima Kitchen

Sisters!
Are you enjoying your weekend? I know it’s great to sit back and relax and PILE on those sweets and yummy carbs! Well, I am not saying you need to stop eating sweets but maybe make some modifications?

Here is what I did. I really wanted to eat Lo Mein with chili and chicken. Instead I replaced the Lo Mein with chopped cabbage, Chinese Brocolli, tomato and some Onions! The result? Delicious! But yet more nutritional and no simple carbs!

Here is the fast easy recipe (use any left over meat, chicken, fish, shrimp)
Here is what you need:
• 1/2 Onion
• 1/4 cabbage shredded
• 1 small tomato
• 1 tablespoon chili
• 1 bunch of Chinese brocolli OR anything leafy and green.
• 1 tablespoon oil (not olive oil)
• 1 tablespoon soy sauce (the thick/ sweet soy sauce)
• salt and pepper to taste

In pan put oil, everything together and mix! If the meat, fish, chicken is raw please cook prior to cooking vegetables!
