Eid Mubarak 1432 H

Taqaballahu Minna Wa Minkum – Taqabal Ya Kareem!

We at Amuslima wish all Muslims wherever you are Eid Mubarak! May Allah always bestow upon us baraqah in whatever we have..want…do.. Ameen.

Now that is is Syawwal, please take advantage of fasting 6 days during this month.  And also keep up your new habits that you have built over the past 29-30 days.  This is important.  We want to make sure we give syaitan a hard time and bad days!  So, lets make sure we keep up our sholat (prayer) , Qur’an recitation, du’a’s (supplications), forgiveness for each other, kindness, patience and overall Iman and Taqwa to Allah swt.

Some things that usually occur during the day of Eid is that we all go into “party-mode” and this is something we should take notice of very quickly. Eid isn’t about gifts and wearing new clothes but more so to mark the end of our time in “solitude” from syaitan.  We, ummah, were given a break by Allah swt. to worship freely without the whispers of syaitan.  Eid although a happy time (because now we all can eat and drink freely!) is also a sad time because without the help of Allah in “caging” our number 1 enemy we stand no chance. Subhannallah!

So, with deepest humbleness to Allah swt. we all return to fighting the whispers of syaitan in our strife to worship Allah swt.   If we look at Eid in this matter it will, Insha Allah guide us to the right path and we will have won 1/2 the battle.

So with that said, let’s all remind each other about doing good deeds rather than gossiping about each other. Let’s help each other with mercy, love and compassion as Allah swt has shown each and everyone of us.  Ameen.

Wassallam
