Eid Mubarak!

Marhabah Ramadan were the words we uttered several weeks ago.

I am sad to see this amazing and blessed month go.  This year Ramadan has been marred with now over 900 Palestinian deaths, and so many more distressing situations for Muslims around the world. And yet there have also been many blessings and happiness as well.

So…

Goodbye Ramadan (for now) and Hello Syawwal –

We plow ahead with our newly cleaned slate! I cannot impress on all of you how important it is to be brave and humble (all in one breath).  Stand up for your own-self, your family and  your fellow Muslims.  Let’s set the standard of how human beings should behave with each other.  Can we defy what Syaitan wishes for us? Can we? Be brave my sisters. Act brave but be humble.  As we all have been given the opportunity to be brave in our own communities it is also important to be humble as well. This doesn’t mean hiding and not letting people know what you are doing but to know that all of our efforts is by the Will of Allah.  In fact, let other people know what you are doing so that they may compete with you in doing good deeds! If we all did a little good deed everyday can you imagine the baraqah we would achieve? P.E.A.C.E.

So my message – be brave & humble.
