Fried Curry Puffs

The following recipe is easy to make, not sticky, and the crust is crispy. If it is left in the open air, its crust is still soft. Believe me ….

Crust ingredients:

  • 500 grams of flour, cook it in a skillet over low heat, until you feel it is getting light, keep the color white then chill it.
  • 250 ml coconut milk, bring to a boil, let it cool
  • 100 margarine, melted
  • 1 egg, beaten off

How to make:

  1. Put the flour in a bowl.
  2. Make a hole in the middle, then add the egg mixture and melted butter. Stir well.
  3. Pour the coconut milk in gradually, stirring until the dough can be shaped.
  4. Let it stand about 15 minutes.

Filling ingredients:

  • 150 grams of minced meat (beef or chicken)
  • 250 grams of carrots, diced
  • 250 grams of potatoes, diced, fried briefly
  • 250 ml of water
  • 2 tsp celery, sliced
  • 7 red onion, sliced (small size)
  • 5 clove garlic, sliced
  • 3 tbsp oil, for sauteing
  • 2 tbsp flour, 1 tsp cornstarch, and little water
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs, diced

Seasoning:

  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  •  1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • salt
  • granulated sugar

How to make:

  1. Saute onion and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the meat, stir until it changes color.
  3. Add carrots, then water.
  4. Cook until the carrots are done enough.
  5. Add fried potatoes, herbs and celery.
  6. Try the taste.
  7. Then thicken with flour solution.

Completion:

  1. Mill the dough as thin as you want it.
  2. Shape it round then put on pastel mold (if any).
  3. Place the piece of boiled egg and the filling in the middle of the round dough.
  4. Fold it to form half circles.
  5. Press the edges with a fork so as not to open when it is fried.
  6. Fry it until browned.
  7. Serve warm with cayenne pepper.

Note:

It is for approximately 35 curry puffs.

To be fast, I mix the dough in a food processor
