Winter season has passed, but we still feel cold weather in some countries. Many ways to warm our body, such as drinking coffee or tea with your family. This ginger-milk drink may add flavor for you who like to try something new! The drink contains herbs like ginger and lemongrass leaves that can be found in any supermarkets or Asian stores.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of fresh ginger, grated
  • ½ kg palm sugar (or more for you who like more sweet), sliced; brown/white sugar also can be used if you cannot find palm sugar at your place
  • ¼ kg of lemongrass, sliced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 3 lt water
  • 1 large can of evaporated milk

How to make:

Heat ginger, sugar, lemongrass together with 3 litter of water until boil and fragrant, stir, then add  salt. Turn off the heat, pour the milk and mix well. The Ginger-milk drink is ready to be served.
