Each person would have a different point to claim whether she/he is an extravagant  person or not. For me, the following points are generally common spending especially for women and will increase my monthly expenditures. Are you included in the one of groups below? ……………..I do  😳

  1. Buying groceries without a shopping list. When we go to supermarket we perhaps intend to buy only eggs, milk, bread that have already finished. But after we have to pay in front of the cashier, we actually buy more, as there are additional items that are not planned to be purchased. If we really need the item that may not be a problem, but if we do not use or need the stuff right now then what we’ve bought is a waste, because at the end we will save it in our cabinet and we forget, so… one day we will buy the same item again!
  2. Shopping at discount stores. Many women like to buy discount items, especially when it’s discounted 50% -70%. Who would not be tempted? Please, think before you buy. Do you really need the clothes, shoes, handbags in front of you? Will the clothes and its style fit you? When was the last time you buy clothes / shoes / new purse? Are there any new clothes / shoes / purse in your closet that have not even been worn? If necessary, you better go back home and come again later. Usually when you get home and consider it carefully you will not buy it.
  3. Having credit cards and debit cards. These smart cards do give us a lot of convenience. Besides reducing the risk of carrying cash, credit card or ATM, they can be used as a substitute of money, just swipe the card, enter your PIN, or sign on the bill, then we can bring the stuff home. The disadvantage, of course if we are not able to control our desire to shop and especially for credit card, it does not affect our savings account at the time, as it would later be paid when due.
  4. Shopping gadgets. Every year we will be tempted by new gadgets with more attractive features, so for people who like gadget do not mind to buy a new gadget, though we do not necessarily use all the new features.
  5. Collectible goods. People who like to collect unique perfume bottle, for example, would be willing to buy perfume in various bottle shape despite their perfume at home has not finished yet.
  6. Not taking good care of stuff that we have. Many items are damage since we rarely use it, particularly if we do not take care of it. For example shoes, because we have more than one shoes then there are shoes that may be worn only a few times but the skin flakes off.

Therefore act wisely in spending your money. Distinguish which items we really need and which item is only desires and not urgent.
