It’s the 1st of the Hijri Year!

Oh, Muslima!

This is now the month of Muharram!  We are calling this to your attention because in the North American region the highlight of this week is Thanksgiving weekend which isaMuslima wishing a happy new year!  It's the 1st of the Hijri Year! HappyMuharam1 highlighted not by the day of Thanksgiving but “Black Friday”! Just to clarify, Thankgiving is a Pilgram holiday and Black Friday is the in-between day where many shops and stores give major discounts to their goods so that people will buy for Christmas.  So the highlight of this weekend is to get early gifts for Christmas. However, for the Muslim community – around the world – today is the 1st day of the Hijri Calendar New Year!  How exciting! So many things to thank Allah for and so many things that are ahead of us to complete our Deen in this Dunia.

As we move ahead in this month, aMuslima is making great strides to provide you with information that will insha Allah help to empower you in order to reach the next level of your Deen wherever you may live!  Your feed back is oh so powerful!
