Study in Germany

Germany is one alternative destination country for studying in Europe. In my experience, studying in Germany has so many advantages. In terms of cost or fees, college in Germany is cheaper compared to other countries like USA, Australia, Japan, England, the Netherlands, Singapore, Malaysia, or Indonesia. Many schools within all states of Germany are not allowed to charge tuition because the German government subsidizes the cost of education. The subsidy is a compensation for higher taxes in the country, which is about 20-30 percent.

In addition to inexpensive costs, there is a high-quality of education available and quality campus/state facilities that support students. Students can work part time on campus at a maximum of 20 hours per week during the school term with a maximum pay of 325 Euros per month. Moreover, students have a full right to work while on vacation for three months and can work 40 hours per week with a salary of 500 to 1,000 Euros per month.

Another thing that makes it interesting to study in Germany is its comfortable atmosphere. The cost of living is only about 500-600 Euro per month. This is very different from the cost of living in countries such as the United States, Australia, Japan, England, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Malaysia.

The requirements for applying to earn a Bachelor’s Degree at universities in Germany are a high school diploma and passing of the German language test.

After graduating from college and returning to their respective countries, the alumni usually get help from the German government in the form of transport and a maximum of a 1000 Euro return ticket, books worth 100 Euros per year, a salary of 200-400 Euros per month for 12-18 months, and the opportunity to apply for assistance for businesses working equipment worth 10,000 Euros. To obtain such assistance, the student must apply to the Office of the City Hall Germany three months prior to their return.

Universities in Germany usually only charge administration fees between 50-250 Euros per semester which is generally used for the manufacture of student cards, library cards, and discount cards that can be used in various places such as the campus cafeteria, theater, cinema and gym.

So what are you waiting for? Studying in Germany interesting is not it?
