Supplication after Ablution

Narrated Umar bin Khattab (RA) that Allah’s Messenger SAW said “If one of you performs the wudu properly and then says:

Ashhadu anllaa ilaa ha illlallaahu wahdahu laa shariikalahuu wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhuu waro suuluh

“I testify that there is no true God but Allah and that Muhammad is the slave of Allah and His Messenger.”

“The eight gates of Jannah will be opened to enter it through anyone he wishes.” (Muslim: 234)

Other supplication after wudu:

Subhaanaka Allaahumma wa bihamdika ahshadu anlaa ilaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atuubu ilaik

“Glory is to You, O Allah and praise is to You. I testify that there is no God but You, I ask pardon to you and I repent to You (Nasai).

The same is recited at the conclusion of a meeting (Abu Dawud: 4859).
