To dress a Pear shaped body, a stylist would want to offer clothing that widen the shoulders. Suggest things that enhance a fuller top and chest while the lower body parts are narrowed and slimmed down. In another words, we need to attract the eyes to the upper body part while camouflaging the lower body parts.

Pear shaped body should wear:
1- Dark colors at lower body part and Light colors at upper body part

Pear shaped body should avoid:
1-Tops, jackets, cardigan and dresses that end at your hips or thighs
2- Pockets and horizontal patterns near your hips or thighs
3- Pleats and gathers at waist

For balls and party events, pear needs to take into consideration the need to create a well proportionate figure. Thus make sure to choose a dress or a top with busy detailing like beadings, lace or embroidery at the top half and wear a skirt that flares out with defined waist.
