Tips to Remove Crust in the Pot / Pan

I have known these tips for a long time from my mother-in-law, but only this morning I tried it myself and want to share it with you Muslimah readers.

heat soap and water

When my daughter asked me to cook together to make a simple dessert using cornflakes and marshmallows (made from fish gelatine), lots of dries sticky marshmallow stuck at the bottom of the pan. Although I soaked with water and scraped it with a spoon, the hardened marshmallows had not gone well. Then I remembered the tips of how to remove the crust that has hardened without damaging the pan or non-sticky pans.

Fill the pot / pan with a little water and soap then put the pot/pan on the stove. Turn on low heat until slightly boiling water. Take a wooden spoon then scrape the bottom of the pan if the crust is still there, because usually by heating the pot / pan, the crust stuck to it automatically melt. Turn off the stove. Wash the pot / pan as usual … it is so easy right?

Good luck!
