World Muslimah Finalist, Ainee Fatima –
has withdrawn from the competition. As the only Muslimah finalist from the USA her withdrawal has put us out of the running. However, her reasons for withdrawing is an example of how the state of OUR ahlaq should always be in. This is a state of making correct choices by following what is correct rather than following what is ‘wanted’ by our heart. We know that she wants so much to be part of the World Muslimah competition and it was a giant dream of her’s but without a doubt (and whether we like it or not) Allah IS the BEST of planners. Her presence will definitely be missed however, moving forward aMuslima.com and World Muslimah Foundation will continue to collaborate and Ainee will be part of it. So stay tuned!

Asalaamu Alaikum,
I hope those who are reading this letter reaches them in the best of health and iman. I have some very unfortunate news to convey. My father’s health has not been well as we just arrived back from India. I am so disheartened and upset that I will not be able to come to Indonesia and that I will have to withdraw from the competition.
Islamically, I am obliged to bring a mahram with me to travel and since I am also not feeling very well and my father is not well either, I am withdrawing my entry. God is the best of planners and I am hopeful that you will all become sisters in this amazing journey to finals that I cannot attend. Allah (SWT) has all blessed you with a wonderful opportunity to represent Muslim women, I have faith that you will all do well and InshAllah, perhaps I can attend next year.
With my withdrawal from the competition, I will give my place to a wonderful sister from Malaysia, Nurul Husna.
You are all in my duas, please make the most of this and love each other for the sake of Allah (SWT). Always smile and remember that we are all winners in the eyes of Allah (SWT).
